Your responsibilities
This hybrid role forms the interface between technical sales and project planning. You will be responsible for liaising with potential customers to understand their requirements, identify suitable solutions from our portfolio and translate them into concrete project plans.
You will work closely with the sales and project execution teams to ensure a successful handover and delivery readiness and support automation projects from concept to proposal.
Tasks
* Contacting potential customers to clarify the initial situation and optimisation options. Understanding the technical requirements, finding technically feasible solutions
* Preparing technical proposals and feasibility analyses.
* Translating customer requirements into technical documentation and project specifications.
* Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules and risk assessments to support early phase planning.
* Creating customised solutions and building close relationships.
* Ensure smooth transition of projects from pre-sales phase to execution with clearly defined deliverables and responsibilities.
* Supporting sales with client meetings, presentations and clarification meetings in the proposal phase.
* Proactively following up on presales leads and opportunities
Your profile
* Technical education, e.g. Bachelor's degree in engineering
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
* Initial exposure to the world of logistics and/or material handling vehicles
* Analytical thinking and enjoy dealing with customers
* Fluent in English and German
* Experience in a technical role with customer contact.
* Solid knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, Gantt charts).
* Experience in working with CRM systems (HubSpot) is an advantage.
