Role Summary
The Sr HR Manager & HRBP Germany works closely with the Regional Managing Director and Leadership Team of the Corrugated Solutions Germany region to drive business success through people, culture, and organisational excellence.
The region includes 6 sites across Germany with over 1,700 employees. In addition, the role acts as HR People Partner for all German plants, ensuring alignment of HR practices, compliance with labour legislation, and effective collaboration with local HR teams and social partners.
Your mission
* Strategic Business Partnership
Partner with the Regional MD to shape and deliver the HR agenda that enables business performance.
Support organisational design, workforce planning, and cultural development across the German region.
Lead and support major transformation, integration, and change initiatives.
* People & Leadership Development
Coach and equip leaders with strong, modern people leadership capabilities.
Drive talent management, succession planning, and development initiatives.
Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture.
* HR Operations & Governance
Lead key HR cycles (performance, talent, engagement, salary planning).
Oversee HR governance and compliance in Germany, ensuring alignment with global policies.
Act as escalation and guidance point for German HR topics, including labour law, works councils, and collective agreements.
* Team Leadership
Functionally lead a network of HR People Partners across Germany, ensuring collaboration, capability building, and consistent HR standards.
Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deploy integrated solutions (TA, Total Rewards, D&I, Analytics, Compliance).
Employee & Social Partner Relations
Build constructive relationships with works councils and unions, ensuring transparent and compliant cooperation.
Manage employee relations topics in a fair, consistent, and legally sound manner.
Your Profile
* Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Extensive senior-level HR leadership experience in complex, industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally within an international matrix organisation.
* Deep expertise in German labour law with a strong, hands-on track record of leading works council relationships and navigating co-determination at a strategic level.
* Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing business decisions and shaping people strategy at country level.
* Proven experience leading and embedding organisational change, leadership development initiatives, and end-to-end talent processes.
* Strong balance of strategic perspective and operational execution, with the credibility to step in personally where needed.
* High level of business acumen, analytical capability, and sound judgement in complex and ambiguous situations.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the confidence to challenge, align, and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
* Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a matrix environment, managing competing priorities and complexity.
* Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%.
