Digital Hardware Design Engineer (m/f/d)
what will expect you in this role:
* Development of electrical and optical devices
* Special focus on digital hardware and optical electronics
* Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and optical electronics
* Layout of complex PCBs
* Simulation of digital circuits
* Documentation of development results
* Bring up and test of prototypes
what you can contribute:
* Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering
* Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces
* Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compatibility
* n-depth experience in the field of digital circuit design, RF engineering and optical communication
* Knowledge of simulation programs (e.g. Xpedtition Hyperlynx)
* Experience in complex PCB layout is of advantage
* Good knowledge of English
* Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
