Opcenter / Camstar Tech-Functional Consultant
Kiel, Germany | Hybrid
We are currently looking for an experienced Siemens Opcenter / Camstar Tech-Functional Consultant to support a major manufacturing programme in Kiel, Germany.
This is a hybrid position, but candidates must be able to commute to the Kiel area a few days per week.
The role will focus on the design, development, implementation and support of Siemens Opcenter / Camstar MES solutions within a complex manufacturing environment. You will work closely with manufacturing, IT, OT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, support integrations and help improve production processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading MES/MOM solution design and architecture activities
* Configuring and supporting Opcenter / Camstar applications
* Gathering requirements and translating them into technical and functional specifications
* Supporting ERP, equipment and shopfloor system integrations
* Managing inbound and outbound messaging through CIO / MIO / interoperability modules
* Troubleshooting MES issues and supporting service availability
* Working with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, IT, OT and business operations
* Supporting standardisation, reusability and long-term system supportability
Key experience required:
* Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter / Camstar MES
* Experience with Camstar Designer and Management Studio
* MES implementation and modelling experience
* Experience with CIO / MIO / interoperability modules
* ERP and equipment integration experience
* SQL / Oracle experience
* Good understanding of ISA-95 / MESA standard
* Experience working in complex manufacturing environments
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* English language skills required; German language skills highly beneficial
