Senior Engineer: PCS7 Programming (m/f/d)
Weareseeking a Senior PCS7 Automation Engineer whobrings a balanceofdeeptechnicalmastery and sharp commercialacumen. While yourcoreimpact lies in executingcomplex Siemens PCS7 programmingacross all projectphases, thisroleexpandswellbeyondthe screen.
Actingas a pivotaltechnicalpointofcontact, you will collaboratecloselywith Project Managers toshapecostcalculations, mentor 1–3 juniorengineers, and drivecustomeracquisitionbytranslatingclientneedsinto high-performingautomationsolutions.
Your Responsibilities
1. Independent planning, implementation, and execution of work packages in automation projects
2. Technical focus on PLC programming using Siemens PCS 7 across all project phases
3. Support of the Project Manager in the technical preparation of cost calculations and proposals
4. Testing, commissioning, and technical acceptance of implemented solutions
5. Guidance and technical leadership of 1–3 Junior Engineers / Engineers
6. Compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and active contribution to a safe working environment
7. Acting as a technical point of contact for customers
8. Building, maintaining, and strengthening long-term customer relationships through competent technical consulting
Your Profile
9. 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an industrial automation environment handling complex technical work packages
10. Degree as an engineer, technician, master craftsman, or equivalent
11. Very good knowledge of PLC programming with Siemens PCS 7
12. Solid understanding of automation projects across all project phases
13. Ability to independently develop and implement technical solutions
14. Experience in supporting project cost calculations and proposals is an advantage
15. Willingness to participate in development initiatives as well as to train and further develop employees
16. C1 German language skills (additional language skills are an advantage depending on project requirements)
