Sales Engineer

Job description:
* You will work closely with our customers, engaging in open discussions to tackle the trends of today and tomorrow.
* You will win new customers through trade show visits, cold canvassing and networking.
* You will take on customer needs, prepare them internally and implement them in product solutions.
* You will present our products and offers during customer visits - both at our headquarters and on location.
* You will create proposals and accompany order negotiations until successful conclusion.
* You will assume project leadership throughout the entire sales phase - from inquiry to series production.
* You will analyze market and competitive developments and actively contribute to our business plan.
* You will be approximately 30% of your time traveling to care for customers on site and uncover new business opportunities.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Completed technical bachelor's or master's degree or apprenticeship as a master or technician with professional experience.
* Two hearts beat in you - you are both a salesman and a technician, eager to offer our customers the best solution.
* It would be ideal if you have experience in plastic technology, injection molding or decorative and technical surfaces.
* Contacts in various industries are not a must but an added bonus.
* You have experience in calculation, cost determination and evaluation of business cases.
* With your well-developed project management skills, you maintain control at all times and convince customers through your communication strength and confident demeanor.
* You are proficient in Microsoft Office and communicate confidently in German and English, both in writing and orally.
