OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
This position is responsible for planning & monitoring complex, multi-year EPCI project(s) through identification and completion of critical path and parallel work activities to achieve optimum performance
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops project estimates and resource loaded schedules using Primavera 6 / MS Project software
2. Calculates earned value management reporting parameters
3. Works directly with the Project Managers and project team members to identify and resolve problems in the area of planning and scheduling for the project(s) responsible
4. Directly monitors, controls, consolidates and provides feedback to the project plans developed
5. Assists project management team in preparation of project reporting, analysis and various reporting for management
6. Conducts project progress monitoring including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date
7. Regularly keeps management informed of problems, issues, and status of the project against the base-line programme
8. Defines and prepares monthly KPIs and reporting in accordance with project requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
9. Bachelor level qualification in relevant degree (Engineering, Science or Business).
10. Proficient in use of Excel
11. Proficient in use of MS Project
12. Proficient in use of Primavera P6 (Preferred)
13. Fluent in English and German
Minimum Experience :
14. From 2 to 5 years of experience in project controls primarily in project planning and schedule development on EPCI Projects (construction and oil & gas environment is appreciated)
15. Working Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management Systems is essential
16. Experience in defining and producing planning reports / dashboards
17. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential
18. Proven track record in successfully planning multi-disciplined projects
19. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
20. Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative
21. Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision
22. Fast worker with ability to work well under stress
23. Ability to work well as a team player
24. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
25. Availability to travel (in & out of country) around 20/30 % of the time
