Your Role
The Technologist / Senior Technologist Encapsulation plays a pivotal role in advancing innovative, biodegradable delivery systems through encapsulation technologies. This position is centered on hands-on laboratory work, focusing on the development, optimization, and characterization of microcapsules and matrix particles
* Develop and optimize encapsulation systems.
* Conduct laboratory tests on encapsulation processes and spray drying.
* Investigate and enhance the release properties of microcapsules.
* Analyze and characterize microcapsules.
* Perform patent and literature searches.
* Document and evaluate experimental results
* Analyze and interpret data from tests to assess the performance and release properties of microcapsules by supporting digital initiatives withing the Technology Innovation
* Work with cross-functional teams to develop new encapsulation technologies and processes.
About You
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in chemistry, Process Engineering, or related field, or Chemical Laboratory Assistant with relevant experience.
* Experience in encapsulation, polymer chemistry, or emulsions as well as experience in data science is a plus.
* Previous hands-on laboratory experience and a deep understanding of microcapsule characterization.
* Hands-on experience with spray drying processes.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
* High level of motivation, autonomy, and teamwork.
* Proficient in German and English (written and spoken), SAP, and MS Office.
