Technical Architect - Soccer Management System
Permanent position, full-time. We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) Technical Architect in our IT & Digital division in the Technology & Operations department as soon as possible.
The IT & Digital division is responsible for the technical implementation and ongoing operation of all software products at DFB.
As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for some of the systems and applications of the soccer management system. You will provide technical guidance to the development team and determine how new requirements are implemented at implementation level.
You are the main source of expertise for the technical and functional operation of individual applications in your area.
Your Tasks:
* Creation of solution designs for components
* Carrying out code and architecture reviews
* Initiation and implementation of refactorings
* Checking and ensuring compliance with standards and quality metrics for your systems
* Providing technical advice to product owners regarding your applications
* Documentation of the technical components
Requirements:
* IT background through a degree or training with specialist further training and certification in the architecture environment
* Several years of experience as a Technical Architect
* In-depth expertise and experience as a senior developer in an agile environment
* In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering methods, software modernization and technologies such as Java, Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Oracle DB
* Experience in the design and technical implementation of web applications
* Concrete experience in DevOps, CI/CD and common developer tools such as Git, Jenkins
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
