Job Title: Key Account Manager Job Location: Munich, Germany Main Responsibilities: Build, develop, and manage long term strategic relationships with major telecom operators in the German market. Understand operator-specific needs, procurement processes, and network evolution strategies to drive Huawei’s business objectives. Identify new business opportunities in areas such as 5G, Core Network, Transmission (DWDM), IP/MPLS, VoIP, and OSS/BSS systems. Create and execute comprehensive account plans, including revenue targets, solution positioning, and long term growth strategies. Serve as Project Director or core team member in large scale sales projects, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and the operator. Contribute market intelligence, competitor analysis, and solution feedback to support Huawei’s product and service portfolio development. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of direct experience managing accounts within the Telecom Operator (Carrier) ecosystem. Proven track record in selling complex telecom infrastructure (e.g., LTE/5G RAN, 5G Core, DWDM, IP/MPLS, VoIP, Core Network, OSS/BSS). Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, ICT, or a related field. Solid understanding of operator procurement frameworks and decision-making cycles. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills, with demonstrated success in winning and developing large Telco accounts. Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
