The R&D Operations role ensures efficient execution of product development within the DAQ organization by driving operational excellence and supporting cross-functional coordination. This position is critical to achieving delivery commitments and maintaining transparency across all development lines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Delivery
2. Drive on-time, on-scope delivery of DAQ development projects
3. Coordinate across Hardware, Embedded Software, Software, Operations, and Solution Portfolio teams
4. Support effort estimation improvements for portfolio planning and business case development
5. Align R&D with Operations to streamline industrialization processes
6. Collaborate with Purchasing, Production (internal and external), and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions from development to manufacturing
7. Manage dependencies and mitigate risks across internal and external stakeholders
8. Governance & Reporting
9. Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation support to PMO
10. Maintain progress reports for each development line to enable informed decision-making
11. Drive continuous improvement of execution processes and PLC alignment.
12. Level of experience: confirmed R&D leadership >100FTE
13. Software & Hardware development, technical basic knowledge and experience to guide and support but the technical leadership is not scope of the role.
