(www.Csisoftware.Com), listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.TasksWhat You Will Be DoingYou will drive our acquisition activities of sourcing and nurturing target companies by:Creatively identifying leads for vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific metricsMaintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contactsDeveloping and conducting prospecting campaigns through digital media, outbound cold calling, email sequences, in-person meetings, and industry eventsConsistently making direct outreach to business owners and executives, confidently navigating gatekeepers, and initiating compelling conversationsDemonstrating creativity, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to Owners, Operators, and C-Suite leadershipGathering target company information and qualifying opportunities for potential acquisitionPresenting high-potential opportunities to the internal M&A team and supporting progression to NDA or deeper evaluationTraveling to attend tradeshows, prospecting trips, and in-person meetings as needed (up to 20%)ProfileSkills You Will BringWe are looking for someone who is driven, results-oriented, and unafraid to pick up the phone. You have excellent interpersonal skills, strong business instincts, and a proactive mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by building relationships and sourcing great businesses.Fluency in English and German is a mustExcellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree. A Master’s degree from a top-tier school is a plusStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated success with cold calling and outbound prospecting—you are confident initiating conversations with founders and C-level executives and know how to get past gatekeepers4+ years of experience in a business development, lead generation, or outbound sales role, ideally in a B2B or M&A environmentAbility to manage a pipeline of leads and consistently exceed outreach and engagement targetsConfident in presenting to business owners and executive-level stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and sound business judgmentExperience in M&A, software, or fintech is considered an assetFamiliarity with Salesforce is a plusProfessional demeanor, excellent time management, and a persistent, independent work ethicCollaborative spirit with the ability to work across remote teams and cultural backgroundsWillingness and ability to travel up to 20%We offerThe OpportunityThe Corporate Development Senior Associate role at Vencora offers a high-impact career path with visibility across the M&A lifecycle.
