Job Overview:
* Take responsibility for a portfolio of companies, overseeing A to Z transactions including maintenance of accurate records, cashbook entries, expenses, and payroll record keeping.
* Analyze legal documentation, including sales or purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.
* Prepare annual accounts according to GAAP, Tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns, and regulatory returns.
* Handle inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as address internal accounting-related issues.
* Work with various clients and report on their needs and demands.
* Assist with other projects to improve accounting processes.
* Stay informed of accounting, regulatory, tax, and legal changes impacting the role and advise management on needed actions.
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting, Audit, or Finance
* 5 years of professional experience in a fiduciary capacity
* Familiarity with GAAP
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Fluent in English
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Proactive and initiative-driven
* High level of autonomy
* Organized and methodical approach
* Effective task prioritization and workload management
