Research Associate in Digital Humanities

We are seeking a Research Associate to contribute to our interdisciplinary research efforts, focusing on developing innovative approaches to historical data analysis and visualization.
This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of historians, data scientists, and digital humanists, working together to advance our understanding of the past and its relevance to the present.
Responsibilities
* Conduct independent and collaborative research in the area of digital humanities, developing and implementing new methods and tools for historical data analysis and visualization.
* Develop training materials and workshops for doctoral candidates, facilitating exchange and collaboration between historians, data scientists, and digital humanists.
* Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
* Assist in the coordination of research activities, including seminars, symposia, and public engagement.
Requirements
* PhD in History, Digital Humanities, Data Science, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary research and excellent digital literacy.
* Strong interest in historical data, machine learning, data visualization, or digital hermeneutics.
* Strong communication skills in English and good knowledge of French or German.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Methodological, organized, pragmatic, and effective approaches to research in collaboration with partners.
