Your area of work:
As a member of Storage administration team, you will provide support to IT mission critical applications and will ensure that maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.
Your responsibilities:
1. Participate in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the storage infrastructure
2. Create and maintain detailed documentation and procedures of the storage environment (SAN/NAS/Object) in all aspects of its utilization; ensure associated work in compliance with the documented procedures.
3. Provide consulting services to other departments and assist with implementation of multiple product vendors and technologies
4. Ensure operational stability in the field of responsibility
5. Provide escalation support following processes and interact appropriately with other departments and end users, when required
6. Take part in on-call rotation
Your profile
7. University degree (master or diploma) in IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience.
8. First experience in storage management (SAN, NAS, Object Storage on DellEMC, NetApp, Broadcom platforms) is an advantage.
9. Fundamentals Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, Perl, and Python programming
10. Network notions
11. Cloud platforms - GCP or Azure notions
12. IT problem-solving skills
13. Good communication and analytical skills
14. Proven ability to work in both standalone and team mode
15. Fluent in both written and spoken English (additional language skills in German and/or French welcome)
16. Ability to learn fast.
