In our team, you will ensure the reliable execution and continuous improvement of ground segment operations for the Galileo system, including routine activities, anomaly response, and LEOP support across an international infrastructure.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Prepareand validate operational procedures and system configurations to ensure readiness for mission execution.
2. Operate ground control systems during live satellite operations, including high-stakes phases like LEOP.
3. Participate in the planning and coordination of operational schedules and activities.
4. Support the deployment and testing of new software and hardware updates.
5. Contribute to the development of training materials and knowledge sharing within the team.
6. Engage in continuous improvement of operational processes and automation initiatives.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for graduates in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar field with background and interest in satellite ground operations.

7. Background in satellite ground operations, including system setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
8. Familiarity with GNSS systems or similar space-based infrastructure.
9. Proficient in working within Linux environments.
10. Strong ability to learn independently and adapt to evolving technical challenges.
11. Excellent command of English for both technical communication and documentation.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
12. Experience with LEOP, IOT, and routine operations.
13. Understanding of encryption key management and secure operations.
14. Familiarity with GCS/GMS architecture and global antenna infrastructure.
15. Familiarity with automation
Please note also that the role requires periodic travel to the Italian control center and potentially other operational sites, depending on mission needs and project phases.
