For the expanding engineering team in the Stuttgart region, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/x) who is passionate about building robust quality processes in highly complex software environments.
Tasks
* Drive quality assurance across sophisticated software products used in demanding high-performance environments
* Design, implement, and continuously improve automated test frameworks for APIs, backend services, and distributed software components
* Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end levels
* Analyze complex software behavior and identify root causes in close collaboration with software and system engineers
* Validate software reliability in virtualized and hardware-related environments
* Ensure stable and reproducible test infrastructures for complex development workflows
* Contribute actively to quality standards, release readiness, and continuous improvement processes
* Work closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams across software, systems, and product development
* Support the transition from reactive testing toward proactive quality engineering
Requirements
* Several years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering
* Strong hands-on expertise in Python for test development and automation
* Deep understanding of modern testing methodologies across multiple test layers
* Solid experience working in Linux-based environments
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies and complex system setups
* Experience testing service-oriented architectures and communication interfaces such as REST or gRPC
* Knowledge of configuration and automation tools is highly beneficial
* Additional exposure to programming languages such as Go or Kotlin is a plus
* Strong analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented working style
* Comfortable operating in technically challenging environments with evolving requirements
* Fluent English communication skills
