OverviewJob DescriptionAre you looking to build on your inhouse legal career bringing legal experience from retail sales and marketing into supporting the LEGO Groups Europe Central (Germany Austria and Switzerland) market group? Growing our Western Europe Legal team, this Munich-based role will enable the LEGO Group to help support the growth across this part of the business.ResponsibilitiesRevise, draft and negotiate contracts.Partner with the Europe Central GM and Leadership Team.Ensure a high level of compliance within competition law and data privacy for the market group.Provide legal advice to management and departments on compliance and regulatory matters.Offer legal training and mentorship to internal collaborators.May manage large and sophisticated projects or processes independently.Engage and coordinate with interested parties outside the organization at a medium to high complexity.Work independently as a recognized subject matter authority, mentor others, and identify and define tasks.Communicate directly with senior management, independently handling conflicts in negotiation.Maintain an end-to-end perspective, understanding trade-offs for different scenarios.Lead legal workstreams and negotiations in our Europe Central market, including collaboration with internal specialists and managing external counsel.Collaborator management from executive level to mid management and procurement and commercial specialists.QualificationsMinimum 5-6 years of (postgraduate) global experience from inhouse or private practice, including extensive experience with legal work and processes related to a multi-channel retail sales and marketing environment.Collaborative and communicative attitude.German and English speaking to a high level.Demonstrated history of navigating sophisticated negotiations and leading collaborators effectively.Strong commercial understanding across multiple levels of a value chain.Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on legal issues.Thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment.Benefits & WorkplaceFamily Care Leave — enhanced paid leave options for important times.Insurance: life and disability insurance for protection and peace of mind.Wellbeing: resources and benefits to nurture physical and mental wellbeing, with opportunities to build community and inspire creativity.Colleague Discount: eligible for generous colleague discount from day one.Bonus: eligible for rewards through our bonus scheme when goals are reached.Workplace: primary workplace location with a hybrid policy (approx. 3 days per week in the office); policy and eligibility discussed during recruitment.Corporate commitmentsThe LEGO Group is committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay and seeks to encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
