Ecolab is seeking an European Commercial Technical Facility Care and Laundry Specialist to join our Institutional division, supporting our field sales teams across a dynamic European cluster. This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and deliver expert technical support in professional facility care and laundry services. You’ll play a key part in launching new products, training teams, resolving in-field challenges, and collaborating with R&D and marketing to shape the future of our solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact:
1. Deliver to Corporate account and Field sales in country cluster expert product advice, technical training, in-field problem resolution, critical local endorsements and documentation on Institutional products and dispensing equipment
2. Train new hires on all Institutional technical & product applications
3. Be key contact regarding technical questions for tenders and customer requests in alignment with CAM and Field sales
4. Participate in field tests for European R&D new innovations using the global field test methodology, take part in innovation project teams and support the launch and implementation of innovations through training of Field Sales
5. Launch and implement innovations in the market through TM training, through pre-launch familiarisation trials, post-launch refresher training and in-field support
6. Provide local customer insights to R&D and marketing for new innovations. Keep records of TM and CA queries and support provided. Regularly update R&D and marketing on market developments.
7. Develop digital skills (Salesforce, Connectivity) of Field Sales through field visits and training
8. Receive, filter and report all quality issues through eQMS process with batch codes, samples and application knowledge and provide feedback to sales on issues.
9. Close collaboration with Marketing, R&D, regulatory and other functions in establishment of technical and sales support materials and customer statements
10. Take part regularly in field trips.
11. Lead safety during travel and on-site customer activities
12. Lead our working student and coordinate activities with RDE
Qualifications:
13. Bachelor’s or Master‘s Degree (in Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent) and 1-3 years job experience
14. Electrotechnical background required
15. 1-3 years’ experience in professional facility cleaning and laundry services
16. Fluency in German language and English required as well Polish and/or Turkish, other languages are beneficial
17. First leadership experience
18. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and on a European and virtual base
19. Willingness to travel across Europe (min 50%)
20. Full driving licence and valid passport essential
21. Eagerness to learn fast and open minded and solution oriented, digital mindset
22. Strong people influencing skills, ability to inspire people,
23. Organise and prioritize many different deliverables for the business
24. Strong service-, customer- and results focus
25. Strong People skills and ability to lead and inspire remotely
26. IT skills: able to use MS Office suite and ERP systems
