To support our team at the headquarters in Lauf an der Pegnitz, we are looking for a full-time employee to start as soon as possible as Financal Accountant UK (m/f/d).
Your mission
* Full responsibility for accounting and controlling of the UK entity
* Managing daily banking activities and cash flow, including reconciliations and payment approvals
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and group requirements
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, Intrastat reports, and other UK regulatory filings
* Supporting and coordinating year-end audits in collaboration with external auditors
* Handling intercompany reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
* Producing cost centre reports and analyzing key variances
* Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes
* Involvement in international finance projects
* Completing various ONS and CSO surveys.
* Review of monthly payroll files and initiation of payments, including posting of payroll journals and payroll reconciliations
Your profil
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree and business administration, finance, accounting with demonstrable post qualification experience
* Several years of professional experience as an Accountant or a Financial Controller in the UK
* Proven success of delivering financial reporting and improvements in a fast-paced and
* changing environment as a completer/finisher who delivers against objectives, ideally in
* a retail business
* Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and the UK tax and reporting environment
* Fluency in German and English at least C1 level in both languages
* Proficiency in ERP system SAP and MS Excel
* Strong analytical skills, sense of responsibility, and a structured approach to work
* Intercultural competence and ability to work in international teams
