Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Designer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing 2D and 3D infrastructure plans using AUTOCAD, based on technical data, project information and topographic surveys carried out in the field.
* Produce detailed plans and designs using CAD software
* Update existing architectural plans in a BIM environment, based on point cloud surveys or other types of survey
* Modify existing infrastructure plans following adaptations and work carried out
* Verify the accuracy of 'as-built' documents in situ
* Develop and implement drawing standards for external partners
* Ensure compliance with archiving structure of the technical department's document database
* Conduct topographic surveys in the field using existing equipment if necessary
Other Key Responsibilities:
* Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project)
* Assisting in the integration of new employees
* Contributing to waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior
Requirements
* Studies/training: Higher technical diploma (BTS) or bachelor's degree in computer-aided design/construction or equivalent experience
* Experience: 5 years' experience in civil engineering and airports; proven experience in CAD architectural and building design
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
* IT Tools: Mandatory - Microsoft Office Suite, Excellent command of CAD and 3D modeling software: AutoCAD Map, Civil 3D, Revit, Archicad, DraftSight, BricsCAD, Trimble SketchUp, etc.
* Languages: Mandatory - French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum); English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
* Know-how and interpersonal skills specific to the job: Proven experience in working with point clouds and respective plan updates in a BIM environment; general knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS); knowledge of topography, particularly in the use of LIDAR/GNSS survey equipment and respective processing software, is considered an asset.
