Morson are currently exclusively supporting a well established financial services firm in identifying a Director of ERM. This exciting new opportunity would lead risk management globally for the firm with an emphasis on the Benelux region.
Alongside leading a team you would have the opportunity to shape the risk function as best you see fit leveraging your years of experience to produce the best outcome for the firm.
The role would require circa 2 days in the office in Munich, Berlin and others.
Responsibilities would include:
* Leading on risk management for the firm globally
* Managing all regulatory risks impacting the function
* Developing and managing a small team across the EU.
To be considered you would need:
* Excellent risk management experience with tenure holding a head of/director level role in risk mgmt
* Payments experience would be beneficial
* Strong regulatory knowledge including DORA, CCSF/BAFIN
* Highly hands on, comfortable getting hands dirty. Fintech experience would be highly valuable
German language would not be required for this role.
