For one of our clients we are looking for a freelance DWH Specialist HiScout Background of the project: As part of the further development of reporting and analysis capabilities in the area of business continuity management (BCM), the existing BI landscape will be migrated from Tableau to Microsoft Power BI. The goal is to build a future-proof, scalable data warehouse that provides a consolidated database for company-wide evaluations. At the same time, existing reporting functionalities and automations in the standard software HiScout are to be analyzed and adapted with regard to new requirements. Tasks: Consulting: Consulting on the architecture and construction of a data warehouse based on Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Power BI) Migration: Advise on the migration of existing reports and dashboards from Tableau to Power BI. Data analysis: Analysis of existing data sources and design of suitable ETL routes Automation: Connection and automation of data sources Requirements analysis: Conducting requirements analyses and creating technical concepts for reporting adjustments in HiScout. Reporting: Implementation and testing of reporting adjustments in HiScout Documentation: Quality assurance and documentation of the work carried out Training: Advice on the preparation of training documents and transfer of know-how to internal teams Must Haves: Data Warehouses Reporting Systems analysis Technical conception Data analysis Business Continuity Management HiScout MS Power BI Fluent English and German Start: ASAP Duration: till 30.06.2027 Location: remote Capacity: 40h/week
