About the position
The COO Office in Luxembourg is the centrepiece of the Management Company. It coordinates all local and overreaching projects, collects and processes diverse information and presents them to the management of the legal entity.
During your internship, you are going to be introduced to the diverse aspects of asset management, and you will be supporting the team in many diverse tasks. Your focus will be involved on administrative and coordinative tasks focusing on projects, regulatory changes, audits and meetings with a strong focus on global DWS (fund) sales and DWS marketing & communications topics.
As our COO Office Intern, you will:
1. Supporting the distribution governance team in the daily business with regards to the global DWS distribution chain and the DWS coverage colleagues
2. Actively assist the coordination of external and internal audits as well as with the follow-up findings
3. Responsible for the presentation and the post processing of project meetings
4. Creation of Senior Management presentations or reports i.e. quarterly MIS or fund-board reports
5. Ensure Client data Quality and data completeness by using various DWS Systems i.e. Salesforce
6. Participation in regular governance meetings i.e. DWS Coverage and DWS communications
We’re looking for:
7. Student in the field of business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business mathematics or a comparable economic or natural science specialization
8. Interested in financial issues and capital market topics
9. Practical experience in project work
10. Affinity for Asset Management
11. Excellent MS-Office skills and common applications
12. Responsible, committed personality with excellent analytical skills and quick comprehension
13. Strong communication skills
14. Very good English and German language skills
15. Interested to work in a team within an international environment
16. You are enrolled in your penultimate or last year of study, or on a gap year in between your Bachelor and Master’s degree.
17. You need to be available for 3-6 months as of August/ September 2025
