As a process support employee, you will manage our statistical procedures and tools and ensure the smooth operation of our statistics production. The department also houses the central operating functions and the service desk.
YOUR NEW TASKS
* You will administer and maintain existing and newly introduced IT procedures and STEP tools for the business processes of official statistics
* You will organize and administer our statistical procedures and survey tools and support the specialist departments in this context
* You will support our users in all IT-related questions and IT-specific problems relating to these procedures
* You will be involved in monitoring and last-level support and will handle complex user queries
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
* You have an accredited bachelor's degree or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, mathematics, or physics, or you have comparable training with many years of professional experience in the IT field
* In addition to knowledge of server administration (especially Linux systems), you have experience in server virtualization and with VMware
* Knowledge of statistics is desirable
* You actively contribute your knowledge of IT security when working with our systems
