The faculty trains about 3,600 students in human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and midwifery.The Leipzig Cohorts and Trial(ist)s (LeiCoT) program addresses the growing need for clinician scientists who develop and conduct cohort studies and randomized controlled trials.
LeiCoT builds on and expands the excellent infrastructure in the areas of metabolism, heart/brain, and cancer at Leipzig University.
The program provides new career pathways, excellent training opportunities, cutting-edge clinical research tools, and long-term perspectives for clinical trialists, aiming to improve patient care.
