You will play a vital role as a technical sales specialist, focusing on data center solutions. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey the value of our services to prospective clients.
1. Technical Liaison:
o Provide expert product knowledge and technical consultation to potential clients, serving as a trusted advisor on their infrastructure needs.
2. Sales & Client Support:
o Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts based on their technical needs and future growth plans.
3. Product Demonstrations:
o Conduct compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective customers, highlighting the benefits of our data center services.
4. Client Relationships:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their infrastructure needs.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for new business acquisition.
6. Proposal Development:
o Assist in creating proposals and technical documentation for client solutions, ensuring they meet the client's specific requirements.
7. Post-Sales Support:
o Provide post-sales technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation of services.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience:
o An Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
* Relevant Skills:
o Strong knowledge of data center best practices, including cabling standards (e.g., fiber, copper), racking, and power distribution.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting server hardware, networking equipment, and related components.
* Familiarity with network topologies, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and concepts (e.g., VLANs, routing).
* Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Cisco CCNA are highly desirable.
* A passion for technology and a desire to stay current with industry trends.
