Your mission This role is deeply operative, focusing on hands-on execution and problem-solving across various critical areas. You'll be instrumental in shaping our day-to-day successes, working across cost modeling, supply chain operations, and procurement to ensure our growth is both efficient and sustainable. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your direct contributions make a tangible impact across many fields, you'll feel right at home. Your responsibilities include: Cost Modeling & Decision Support Build and maintain advanced multi-variable cost models in Google Sheets. Analyze cost structures across manufacturing, logistics, and sourcing to support data-driven decision-making. Develop sourcing comparisons, simulations, and return-on-investment (ROI) projections to guide procurement and strategic planning. Actively monitor commodity markets to predict future material cost changes and support material cost forecasting. Supply Chain Operations Support and optimize logistics workflows from supplier delivery through internal distribution and external deployments. Collaborate with manufacturing and project teams to ensure operational transparency, traceability, and material availability. Support in identifying and implementing logistics improvements related to route planning, delivery frequency, and cost efficiency. Procurement & Sourcing Contribute to supplier scouting, qualification, Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, and price negotiations. Draft and refine purchasing strategies that balance cost, quality, and lead time requirements. Support the development and coordination of the purchasing team, including training and process improvements. Bonus Areas You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with or gain exposure to the following areas: In-House Manufacturing Support: Coordinate material needs, monitor inventory levels, and contribute to the optimization of manual production steps such as pipetting and vial filling. IT Systems Deployment: Take part in the rollout and testing of internal systems (e.g., ERP, logistics tools), support training efforts, and help gather user feedback. Infrastructure & Facility Coordination: Assist in managing building-related needs such as space planning, small-scale renovations, maintenance coordination, and basic technical issue solving Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development: Writing and maintaining formal process documents. Process Mapping through visually charting workflows to find bottlenecks. Your profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in a complex, dynamic environment Proven track record in developing, managing, and refining complex multi-variable cost models Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess cost structures and deliver data-driven, actionable insights Hands-on experience in performing sourcing comparisons, scenario simulations, and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses Solid understanding of commodity market trends and material cost forecasting techniques Familiarity with logistics processes and foundational knowledge in supply chain optimization strategies Comprehensive expertise in procurement and sourcing, both operationally and strategically Experience in team mentoring and process enhancement, with a focus on continuous improvement Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Why us? We are just leaving stealth mode, moving from local R&D to global commercialization and expansion. We are developing a technology that will enable MRI-based imaging of real-time metabolism in the body, with tremendous potential for research and applications in oncology, cardiology, neurology and more. Our company brings together expertise in physics, chemistry, engineering and medicine, and we are collaborating with scientists and clinicians from top medical and research centers such as Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, MD Anderson in Texas, Technical University of Munich, Cambridge University in the UK and more. NVision is developing fast, robust and easy-to-use hyperpolarization technology for preclinical and clinical research in our POLARIS product line. Those devices are placed close to an MRI scanner in a research or clinical environment to produce hyperpolarized contrast agents on demand in a fast, fully-automated, multi-step chemical process. Key steps of the process contain fluidic transport across multiple vessels and chemical mixing and separation processes in fully-reuseable or single-use disposable fluid paths. We develop our commercial products jointly with external design and manufacturing partners and the process development as well as the design and manufacturing of prototypes is done entirely in-house. We offer a dynamic international working environment, with immense room for growth, that encourages personal initiative and open communication.
