We are hiring a Jira Software Engineer to manage the Atlassian stack at Canonical, including administration, configuration, automation, and integration. We seek high engineering quality, rigorous documentation, and effective stakeholder management. Our aim is to enable Canonical teams to leverage Atlassian Jira for challenging assignments and data-driven decisions. The role is within the Commercial Systems team, which integrates business systems to ensure reliable data flows and automate processes. We manage systems like Jira, Salesforce, NetSuite, Greenhouse, GSuite, among others, using Python, Go, and open source tools such as Airbyte and Temporal. Our work supports data-driven decisions and improves operational efficiency. Location: This role can be remote within EMEA time zones.
