Customer & Opportunity Shaping
1. Understand customer business challenges, objectives, and success criteria through structured discovery
2. Translate business problems into solution concepts, value propositions, and implementation approaches
3. Challenge unclear or solution-biased customer requirements with constructive alternatives
4. Act as a trusted advisor in customer discussions, workshops, and pitch meetings
Solution Design & Value Proposition
5. Design high-level solution architectures aligned with customer needs, budget, and timeline
6. Define scope, assumptions, dependencies, and non-goals clearly and early
7. Articulate business value, ROI drivers, and differentiation vs. competitors
8. Ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with delivery capabilities
Sales Enablement
9. Support account teams in opportunity qualification (bid / no-bid decisions)
10. Contribute to proposals, presentations, demos, and RFP responses
11. Help structure commercial models in collaboration with sales and delivery
12. Coach sales colleagues on solution narrative and customer messaging
Internal Alignment
13. Collaborate closely with delivery, architecture, and subject-matter experts
14. Ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery with shared understanding of scope and risks
15. Capture reusable assets, references, and lessons learned from deals
16. Improve win-rate, proposal quality, and pre-sales efficiency through structured feedback
17. Stay current on market trends, customer priorities, and competitive offerings
18. Contribute to standard solution offerings, accelerators, and playbooks
Qualifications
19. Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn them into clear solution options
20. Experience in customer-facing consulting, pre-sales, or solution architecture roles
21. Strong storytelling and presentation skills
22. Solid understanding of modern IT / digital solutions relevant to the business context
23. Ability to discuss architecture, integration, data, cloud, or platforms at a conceptual level
24. Curious, structured, and comfortable challenging assumptions
