Senior Technician – Robotic Systems
1. Commission and maintain advanced robotic and automation systems both in-house and on-site at customer locations worldwide
2. Program and optimize robotic applications (e.g., KUKA, ABB, FANUC) to meet project specifications
3. Inspect and prepare critical components based on technical drawings before assembly
4. Assemble mechanical subcomponents and entire systems
5. Perform pneumatic installations and electrical pre-wiring of system modules
6. Support customer communication on technical topics
7. Create safety protocols, operating manuals, and documentation
8. Coordinate on-site resources and support project progress planning
9. Train and guide customer personnel in system operation
10. Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for optimal system uptime
11. Document service work and provide detailed reports
12. Contribute to continuous improvement processes and system performance optimization
13. Support the disassembly and packaging of systems for global delivery
14. Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices
15. Serve as backup for lead technicians in managing on-site teams
16. Completed training as Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent qualification
17. Several years of hands-on experience in automation, ideally with a focus on robotic programming
18. Solid technical understanding and problem-solving mindset
19. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
20. Open to working in multicultural, international environments
21. Fluent in German or English; Chinese is a plus
22. Independent, structured, and proactive working style
23. Valid Class B driving license is a plus
