Job Description
As a hybrid Data & Business Analyst on our Assortment & Pricing team, you will spend half your time building robust data models and pipelines (analytics engineering) and the other half directly using insights to improve our assortment & pricing strategy. You’re a business-minded problem-solver who speaks SQL fluently, but who also thrives in stakeholder conversations, turning analytical findings into action.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics Engineering (50%)
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT & BigQuery.
2. Collaborate with Data Platform and other Analytics teams to integrate new data sources.
3. Build and deliver interactive dashboards (Looker) that track KPIs—basket size, category penetration, margin, etc.—and communicate results to senior stakeholders
Business Analysis (50%)
4. Ensure operational continuity: own the end-to-end process for keeping our assortment most relevant to customers and ensuring prices and delivery fees are accurate at all times, triaging any anomalies to minimize impact.
5. Conduct deep-dive analyses on assortment, pricing, and promotion performance; surface actionable recommendations and ensure they are implemented.
6. Lead strategic initiatives (, pricing experiments, assortment tests) from hypothesis definition through to impact measurement and cross-functional rollout.
Qualifications
7. Advanced SQL (BigQuery) with dbt proficiency a strong plus, experience using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) to design dashboards and automated reports; familiarity with Python is a plus.
8. Experience in a data-driven business environment (analytics, business development, BI, or FP&A/Controlling).
9. Proven track record of translating complex data insights into clear, concise actions that drive business results.
10. Comfortable managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing priorities across functions.
11. Self-starter who takes full ownership of projects end-to-end, simplifies analytical concepts for any audience, and thrives with a “nothing-is-impossible” mindset.
12. Degree in Business, Economics, Econometrics, or related; business-level English required, German or Dutch fluency is a plus.
