Job Description
Main Tasks
1. Reporting & analyzing of regional supply chain processes with focus on the current customs duty situation in the ISMEA market (India, Singapore, Middle East, Africa), including strategic orientation for the future
2. Identifying potential for improvement and optimization in the preferential origin status and duty savings
3. Co-operating with suppliers and customers to improve the preference situation
4. Supporting Group companies in the African market with the preferential data for market development
5. Working closely with the functional departments, including Purchasing and Sales
6. Preparing data reports, simulations and presentations for various stakeholder, including tracking of results
7. Supporting the integration of implemented solutions into the global reporting & data analytics concept and the overall IT architecture
8. Supporting and representing the Corporate Customs Expert Preferences in preference processes
Your Profile
9. Education and Experience: Successfully completed studies in finance, law or economics with a focus on foreign trade / customs law or data analytics / business analytics, or comparable qualification
10. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of customs / foreign trade / data analytics / business analytics in an international company
11. Expertise:Very good knowledge of preferential regulations as well as of operational preferential origin processesKnowledge of customs and foreign trade lawStrong knowledge of data analytics / business analyticsGood knowledge of SAP (especially SAP GTS) and MS Office (especially Excel, VBA, PowerBI)Sound knowledge of other automation and analytics tools, programming languages would be an advantage
12. Language skills: Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken), French and Spanish would be an advantage
13. Personality:Excellent communication skills and strong “can do” mindsetGood analytical and conceptual skills, strong solution-orientated thinkingStructured way of working and high ability to work in a teamStrongly developed intercultural skillsWillingness to travel globally
