Discover your exciting role
In this role, you will ensure the precise and efficient management of supplier and product master data. You will be key to smooth procurement processes, drive the optimization of our data infrastructure, and ensure that internal teams and external partners have access to reliable information at all times.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
* Maintenance and preparation of supplier and product master data, as well as the creation of new items in the ERP system
* Obtaining quotes and technical product information, and creating price comparisons, analyses, and statistics
* Participation in process optimization to improve data quality and infrastructure
* Support in projects such as the standardization of item master data
* Clarification of technical issues with suppliers
* Reviewing internal orders against defined criteria and resolving any discrepancies
* Tracking deadlines for open orders
Show your expertise
* Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on purchasing or materials management
* Initial professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company
* Proficient use of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft NAV/Navision, Infor, SAP) and MS Office
* Good technical understanding
* Very good German and English skills
