Their innovative materials and commitment to sustainability position them as a key supplier for the future of lightweight manufacturing.
As Business Unit Head, you will take full responsibility for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the Rolled Aluminium division. This executive role requires a commercially driven leader with strong P&L ownership, cross-functional leadership, and a proven track record in managing high-performing sales and business development teams in a B2B industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* P&L Ownership: Drive profitability and growth for the business unit; full accountability for budgeting, forecasting, and financial results.
* Sales Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire a regional and/or global sales team to achieve revenue targets and customer acquisition objectives.
* Strategy Development: Define and execute a strategic roadmap to enhance market share, product portfolio, and geographic reach.
* Operational Oversight: Oversee end-to-end operations including production planning, supply chain coordination, and customer delivery.
* Customer Engagement: Foster long-term relationships with key customers in industrial, automotive, and OEM sectors.
* Innovation & Product Development: Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to guide development of customized rolled aluminium solutions.
* Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy and decision-making.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Quality, and HR to ensure business unit performance and alignment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing or materials sectors, preferably aluminium or metals.
* Proven P&L responsibility with successful track record of business unit growth and profitability.
* Strong leadership experience managing international sales or commercial teams.
* Deep understanding of the rolled aluminium market or adjacent materials industries.
* Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
* Fluent in English; German or other European language is a plus.
