We offer an internship opportunity from July 2026 onwards in our Frankfurt office to assist the investment team in its day-to-day activities.
An internship at Comitis Capital provides you with the opportunity to gain insights into the exciting world of private equity investing while applying and expanding your existing skillset. Flat hierarchies with exposure to senior deal team members and a fast-paced working environment will provide you with excellent learning opportunities.
Tasks
* Take an active part in the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities, including business analyses, fundamental and relative company valuation, financial modelling, commercial assessment, interviews with industry experts and more
* Research quantitative and qualitative data on target companies as well as their market segment and competitive environment
* Participate in the review of due diligence analyses in various areas including commercial, financial, tax, legal etc.
* Support all activities relating to investment committee processes
* Assist in portfolio management and monitoring of current Comitis Capital portfolio companies
Requirements
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristics:
* Entrepreneurial spirit and a team player
* Analytical and commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Strong academic background
* Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Fluency in both German and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Relevant work experience in either private equity, venture capital, M&A, leveraged finance, strategy consulting or commercial / financial due diligence
