Your seat to fill:
1. Leading the biomechanics team within R&D
2. Drive the definition and development of ergonomic and biomechanical requirement profiles to support the safe and user-friendly design of all global juvenile product categories (child restraint systems, stroller, carrier, home products)
3. Define reproducible test methods to measure and quantify human design factors. Manage the corresponding laboratory equipment
4. Evaluate product concepts in early development stages, ensuring they meet ergonomic and biomechanical standards for comfort, functionality, and user well-being
5. Review technical drawings and product artworks to verify compliance with established ergonomic guidelines
6. Organize and conduct hands-on product testing with children and parents, gathering structured feedback to drive iterative design improvements
7. Recruit, engage, and maintain relationships with product test families, ensuring consistent participation in product evaluation activities
8. Conduct technology scouting and market research to identify innovations and emerging trends in ergonomics, comfort, and safety
9. Analyze and synthesize findings from scientific studies to inform product development with the latest evidence-based insights
10. Lead scientific research projects, including contributions to publications and collaboration with academic or clinical partners

11. Completed technical or scientific education (HTL, FH, or university) in biomechanics, ergonomics, biomedicine, or a comparable field
12. A genuine interest in ergonomic design and user-centered development, especially in the context of juvenile products
13. Practical experience in leading a team and managing daily operations to meet organizational goals
14. Practical experience working with children, with an understanding of their developmental needs and how they interact with products
15. Demonstrated responsibility in handling safety-relevant tasks and adherence to regulatory or industry standards
16. Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly for documentation, data evaluation, and presentation
17. Fluent in German and confident in spoken and written English (B1 level)
18. Independent and structured way of working, as well as analytical thinking and reliability
19. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
20. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, bringing a hands-on, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
