We are partnering with a highly regarded European real estate finance organisation to appoint an Associate within its Loan Servicing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to complex cross-border real estate debt transactions while managing a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans across Germany, the UK, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
Working closely with borrowers, lenders, investors, legal advisers and senior internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in the management of both performing and non-performing loans, restructurings, amendments and strategic portfolio initiatives.

The Opportunity
As an Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of complex commercial real estate loans and financing structures, ensuring efficient servicing, risk management and stakeholder engagement across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including interest, principal and fee processing, as well as loan advances, repayments and payoffs.
* Acting in various capacities including Facility Agent, Security Trustee, Servicer, Cash Manager and Registrar across balance sheet and securitisation structures.
* Reviewing and interpreting complex financing documentation, including facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documentation and servicing agreements.
* Working closely with borrowers, lenders and legal advisers to implement amendments, waivers, consents and restructuring initiatives.
* Supporting the management of underperforming and special situation loans, helping to identify solutions and mitigate risks.
* Performing financial analysis and cash flow modelling to support portfolio management and decision-making.
* Preparing reporting and analysis for internal committees, investors and senior stakeholders.
* Building strong relationships with counterparties, participant banks, co-lenders and internal teams to ensure effective portfolio oversight.
* Contributing to process improvements, operational excellence and strategic business initiatives.
What We're Looking For

You will ideally possess:
* 1+ year of relevant experience within commercial real estate finance, lending, servicing or asset management.
* Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Strong understanding of commercial real estate loan structures and financing documentation.
* Experience analysing financial statements, property cash flows and financing performance.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.

Working Pattern
Hybrid working structure:
* 3 days per week in the Frankfurt office
* 2 days per week working remotely
