Job Description
* Take overall responsibility for the commercial success of the Sales DACH team in the segments of Energy, Retail & Parking, Fleet and Solution Providers.
* Lead, develop, and motivate your sales team to achieve ambitious growth and revenue targets together in the e-mobility sector.
* Guide and coordinate team activities to position vaylen’s backend platform as the leading solution for efficient and scalable EV charging infrastructure management across multiple industries.
* Provide operative and strategic leadership throughout the entire sales process: from lead generation and qualification, through pitch and negotiation, to closing – with a particular focus on sustainable, long-term partnerships.
* Drive and support initiatives for continuous revenue growth through account development, upselling, new use cases, and expansion into additional customer segments within your assigned industries.
* Be responsible for maintaining a transparent and well-structured sales pipeline, guaranteeing that all team activities and interactions are comprehensively documented in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
* Work closely with other departments such as Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, collaborating as a team to develop the best solutions for our customers.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
* Several years of experience in B2B sales—ideally in SaaS, e-mobility, energy, or infrastructure—with at least two years in a leadership or team lead position.
* Proven success in leading, developing, and motivating sales teams as well as managing complex sales cycles.
* Strong understanding of the DACH market and business culture; existing network in one or more relevant sectors is an advantage.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, paired with a collaborative, motivating management style.
* Proficient use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and a structured, data-driven approach to sales management.
* Native-level German and strong English skills, both written and spoken.
* Based in the DACH region (preferably Austria) and willing to travel within the region as needed.
