A leading international main contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join its delivery team on a large‑scale data centre project in Frankfurt. This is a key senior role within a high‑performing MEP team, overseeing the full electrical package from pre‑construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the electrical scope across a major hyperscale data centre project.
* Manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring safe, high‑quality and timely delivery.
* Oversee installation of LV/MV systems, generators, UPS, switchgear, containment and associated infrastructure.
* Coordinate closely with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams to maintain programme alignment.
* Review technical submittals, drawings and specifications; ensure compliance with project standards.
* Drive progress meetings, reporting, risk management and issue resolution.
* Support testing & commissioning phases, ensuring systems meet client and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with client representatives, design teams and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Lead, Senior Electrical Engineer or Electrical Package / Project Manager on large‑scale construction projects.
* Strong background in data centres, mission‑critical, pharmaceutical or industrial MEP delivery.
* Excellent understanding of LV/MV systems, electrical installation standards and commissioning processes.
* Ability to manage subcontractors, drive programme performance and maintain high safety standards.
* Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
* EU work rights or ability to work in Germany.
