PA/QA Engineer
Major duties and responsibilities
•Managing product/quality assurance related matters during all phases of space and commercial projects (from development to production of complex products)
•Implementing PA/QA plans and managing PA/QA plan activities (EEE, materials, mechanical parts and processes, etc.)
•Technical risk analyses and methods such as FMEA
•Ensuring the implementation of documentation management and recording, reviewing document and engineering drawings
•Managing non-conformances/deviations/alerts/critical items control process
•Acting as a key point of contact for all quality-related activities of customers and external suppliers
•Supporting the development and follow-up of the supply chain to meet project requirements
•Leading on manufacturing process surveillance, providing support for inspection activities and client on-site reviews
•Participating to design/engineering/MAIT reviews
•Participating to customer/supplier reviews
•Managing project related internal/external audits
•Supporting the development, maintenance and improvement of a compliant quality system and promoting a quality culture throughout the organisation
Qualifications
•3-5 years experience working in a quality engineer/manager position in a highly regulated environment (Aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, etc.)
•Engineering degree (Electronic, manufacturing, process, etc.)
•Specialized knowledge
•Electronic assembly and testing
•Electronic components
•Engineering drawings (mechanical and electronic)
•Quality processes (NCR/deviation etc.)
•Configuration management control
•Standards practical knowledge (ECSS, EN9100, ISO 9001)
•Language: Fluent in English and German (verbal and written)
•Preferred: experience in the development/production of a space application product following ECSS standards and participating to reviews
