We’re supporting a leading automation and engineering organisation based in Munich as they move into a major S/4HANA transformation programme under a RISE with SAP initiative. As part of a broader ERP modernisation effort, they’re looking for an experienced SAP QM consultant to join the programme team and take ownership of Quality Management process design and delivery across the implementation lifecycle.
This role sits within a large international programme team and will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain and business process stakeholders to ensure quality processes are aligned with future-state S/4 capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Lead SAP QM workstream activities across the S/4HANA RISE implementation
* Facilitate workshops with manufacturing and business stakeholders to understand current and future-state processes
* Translate business requirements into scalable SAP QM solutions
* Configure and optimise core SAP QM functionality including:
* Quality notifications
* Inspection planning
* Inspection lots
* Quality certificates
* Defect processing
* Audit and compliance processes
* Work closely with production, procurement and warehouse teams on QM integration points
* Support design decisions around embedded quality processes in an S/4 environment
* Participate in fit-gap workshops and support template definition activities
* Support testing phases including SIT and UAT
* Provide input into cutover planning and hyper care activities
* Work alongside technical teams where enhancements or integrations are required
Experience Required:
* Strong SAP QM consulting background with multiple end-to-end implementations
* Previous S/4HANA implementation experience (minimum one full lifecycle project)
* Experience working within RISE with SAP programmes preferred
* Good understanding of manufacturing and industrial process environments
* Strong knowledge of QM integration with PP, MM and EWM
* Experience facilitating workshops with business stakeholders
* Comfortable operating within international programme environments
* Ability to challenge process design and recommend best practice solutions
