About Sykell
Sykell powers reuse to work at scale. We enable reusable packaging systems across Europe through a combination of smart, trackable reusable packaging and Europe’s leading reuse management software. Our solutions are used by retailers, brands and system operators to replace single-use packaging with circular systems that work in everyday operations.
We are now entering a new growth phase. With our prefill reusable packaging launching in 2026 and increasing international expansion, we are strengthening our leadership team and are looking for a People and Talent Manager to build and scale our people function.
Your role
As People and Talent Manager you will own and shape all people-related topics at Sykell. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team and act as a trusted partner for managers and employees alike. This is a hands-on senior role with strategic responsibility.
Your responsibilities
• Own and develop the People and Talent strategy aligned with Sykell’s growth plans • Act as main contact for all HR related topics for employees and managers • Lead recruiting and onboarding across all functions from operations to tech and leadership • Build scalable people processes for a growing organization including performance, development and feedback • Ensure compliance with German labour law and manage contracts, policies and HR administration • Support leadership development, team structure and organizational design • Foster a strong culture of ownership, trust and collaboration • Prepare and support People and Talent topics related to international expansion • Work closely with finance on headcount planning, compensation structures and budgeting
Your profile
• Several years of experience in HR, ideally in a start-up or fast-growing company • Strong knowledge of German labour law and HR best practices • Proven experience partnering with leadership teams • Hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking • Excellent communication skills in English and German • High level of ownership, discretion and reliability • Passion for building teams and enabling people to do their best work
