Job Opportunity in Generative AI
We are seeking a highly qualified academic professional in Generative AI to contribute to the teaching missions of our Department of Computer Science.
The successful candidate will develop and perform research in Computer Science, establish a research group, and seek cooperation with researchers within the department and across faculties, centres, and external research institutions in Luxembourg.
* Develop and perform research in Computer Science and establish a research group
* Contribute to the teaching missions of the department at various levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) and provide lectures for bachelor and master programmes
* Advise PhD candidates and contribute to doctoral and postdoctoral training (e.g., organising research seminars, reading groups, winter and summer schools)
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching Computer Science topics at undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate levels
* Research in Generative AI and establishing a research group
* Cooperation with researchers within the department and across faculties, centres, and external research institutions in Luxembourg
* Contributing to the department's teaching and administrative missions
Requirements:
* A PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
* A research track record in Artificial Intelligence, with an emphasis on Generative AI and a demonstrated openness to interdisciplinary collaboration both within academia and with industry partners
* Expertise in one or more core areas of Generative AI, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), diffusion models, neurosymbolic methods, or other emerging directions within machine learning
