The following challenges await you:
1. You will establish the global PMO structure and implement a standardized project management framework and methodology in multipe sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
2. By defining transparent governance and reporting structures, you enable clear oversight of project KPIs such as timelines, budget, scope, risks, and benefits.
3. You coordinate and support cross-functional projects (e.g., transfer, NPI, process engineering), ensuring alignment and consistency in planning, execution, and reporting.
4. Through training and coaching, you empower project managers and functional leaders to apply best practices and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
5. You contribute strategically by aligning project execution with company goals, manufacturing footprint plans, and operational improvement initiatives.
6. In collaboration with key functions such as Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Digital, you ensure seamless execution of digital transformation and improvement projects (e.g., Lean, automation, MES upgrades).
7. You build strong relationships with stakeholders, optimize resources, and proactively mitigate risks to achieve successful project outcomes and business KPIs.
Your Profile:
8. You hold a Master's or university degree with very good academic results in natural sciences, engineering, or business engineering.
9. A minimum of ten years of experience in a comparable role, such as in consulting or within a PMO, has equipped you with the skills to lead complex, cross-functional projects.
10. With a strong foundation in project management, you are confident in applying methodologies and making sound, data-driven decisions.
11. Your background includes proven experience in project management, including targeted communication and effective stakeholder engagement.
12. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. German language skills are considered a valuable asset.
13. You bring strong presentation and negotiation skills, along with a solid command of project management tools and techniques.
14. Working independently and proactively comes naturally to you.
15. You have a structured, solution-oriented mindset and a high level of ownership, especially in critical project phases.
16. You have an official project management qualification.
17. Additional qualifications such as statistical knowledge or a Six Sigma Black Belt certification are highly appreciated.
