Freelance Opportunity | Resource Manager - Regional Capacity Planning (RCAP) Berlin | Approx. 40 hours/week | June - December 2026 We are currently looking for an experienced Resource Manager (Freelance) to lead the design and implementation of a Regional Capacity Planning (RCAP) capability for a major infrastructure / energy portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on building scalable workforce planning processes that align project demand, resource availability, and strategic capacity decisions across multiple projects. Your responsibilities: ✅ Develop and implement the RCAP framework, governance, and operating model ✅ Build workforce demand forecasts based on project schedules and pipeline ✅ Translate planning data into resource requirements across functions and timelines ✅ Establish workforce capacity registers and allocation matrices ✅ Identify capacity gaps, workforce risks, and optimization opportunities ✅ Deliver leadership reporting on utilization, demand, and resource planning scenarios ✅ Support hiring strategies and external workforce planning Must-have experience: ✔ 10 years in Project Controls / Portfolio Planning / Resource Planning ✔ Strong background in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects ✔ Deep understanding of schedule-driven resource forecasting ✔ Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 ✔ Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills ✔ Experience building governance frameworks and planning processes from the ground up ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
