You will work closely with our Services Engineering team, the primary technical interface for our main customer across all serviceu2011related activities. This team partners with Centers of Competence (brakes, doors, HVAC, couplers, pantographs, PIS/CCTV, fire protection, and more), Project Management, and Commercial teams to deliver bestu2011inu2011class support throughout the full lifecycle of rolling stock products. You will interact continuously with customers, internal engineering teams, and global experts to ensure aligned, timely, and highu2011quality technical support. How will you make a difference? As a member of the Services Engineering / Technical Support Group (TSG), you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all technical service activities for one of our key customers. You will act as the primary technical contact, supporting maintenance, overhaul, repair, and upgrade projects while ensuring seamless communication between the customer, internal engineering, and product competence centers. You will prepare technical offers and service tenders, oversee the execution of service projects, and drive integrated trainu2011level solutions that enhance reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction. By analyzing customer issues, conducting feasibility assessments, and communicating technical insights, you will help shape service strategies and strengthen the longu2011term customer partnership. What will your typical day look like? Serve as the primary technical contact for all serviceu2011related topics (maintenance, overhaul, repairs, upgrades) for the main customer Lead and coordinate technical support activities, including safety cases and urgent issue resolution Prepare and consolidate technical offers and tender documentation, ensuring alignment with OE teams when needed Oversee the execution of TSG projects to ensure timely delivery and highu2011quality technical outcomes Collaborate with Centers of Competence (brakes, doors, HVAC, pantographs, etc.) to ensure harmonized technical support Respond quickly and accurately to technical inquiries across multiple product lines Identify opportunities by promoting integrated trainu2011level solutions Conduct feasibility studies, fleet assessments, and conditionu2011based evaluations Strengthen customer relationships by providing proactive engagement and showcasing Wabtec innovation Document, track, and communicate customer issues, feedback, and resolutions, including trend reporting to management Qualifications What do we want to know about you? Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical field (engineering degree required) Strong rail engineering background u2014 ideally in trainu2011level design, systems integration, or fleet engineering Fluent German language skills; English proficiency required Experience in maintenance workshops is a strong plus Ability to manage complex product portfolios and communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders Strong customeru2011facing skills and the ability to build technical credibility Organized, selfu2011driven working style with the ability to prioritize effectively Additional Information We offer: Collective wage agreement pay Permanent employment Vacation pay Christmas bonus Contribution to capital-forming benefits Company pension plan 30 days of vacation per calendar year Company cafeteria available Lease a job bike Subsidy for the Germany Ticket Further education opportunities _Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
