Promotions are one of the strongest commercial levers in European pet e‑commerce—and at zooplus, they’re entering their next chapter. We’re looking for a senior leader to own our end‑to‑end promotional engine: strategy, team, tooling, governance, and P&L impact. Building on a strong foundation, you’ll create a Promotion Center of Excellence and align vendors, category, marketing, pricing, product, and finance across markets.

What you will own:
* The promotional strategy, planning and measurement - ensuring close alignment with central and market teams on driving effectiveness and efficiency
* A governance framework with clear guardrails, performance KPIs, and decision rights
* The relationship between promotion and pricing - driving toward integrated net price management
* Cross-functional alignment with Vendor Management, Category, CRM, Marketing, and Finance - you're the connective tissue that makes promo spend coherent
* Partnership with Product and Engineering on capability buildout, automation, and tooling that keeps pace with our ambition
* Validation, execution, and compliance processes - ensuring operational excellence doesn't lag behind strategic vision
* A team of promotion experts, with the explicit goal of scaling into a best-in-class Center of Excellence for Promotions
Candidate profile:
* Commercial & pricing expertise: 10+ years in e‑commerce, revenue management, or commercial strategy, with a strong grasp of P&L, ROI, elasticity, and growth drivers.
* Data‑driven decision making: Comfortable navigating analytics to guide decisions; strong understanding of how promotions, CRM, paid media, and digital marketing interact (SQL a plus).
* Leadership & stakeholder management: Proven experience building and scaling cross‑functional teams, earning trust with senior stakeholders through sound judgment and reliable execution.
* Operating in complexity: Confident working in ambiguous, fast‑paced, international environments; fluent in English (German a plus)
