Your mission As a Data Scientist at mama health, you’ll sit at the center of our data engine. Working closely with our Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and the Data Science team, you’ll turn raw patient stories into actionable insights that power our B2B SaaS Analytics Platform. Your profile You’ll tackle meaningful questions across health data, patient journeys, and real-world evidence, building models and analyses that help healthcare companies improve chronic care. You’ll also work directly with renowned global clients, giving your work immediate visibility and worldwide impact. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and model large, multi-modal patient datasets to generate insights on patient journeys and unmet needs. Work hand-in-hand with the Chief AI Officer to develop, validate, and scale algorithms for our Patient Journey Analytics Platform. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to turn data insights into user-facing features for our B2B SaaS tool. Design and implement pipelines for data cleaning, feature engineering, and predictive modeling. Communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, shaping how life science companies make decisions. Stay up to date with state-of-the-art methods in ML/AI and bring new ideas into our production stack. Requirements: 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (preferably in healthtech, SaaS, or related fields). Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar ML libraries). Strong skills in SQL and experience working with structured/unstructured data. Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization. Ability to work independently on complex problems while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. Full fluency in English (written and spoken). Location: either of the following (all other applications will be ignored): Reside and be legally authorized to work in Italy (remote) On-site in Berlin Nice to Have: Experience with real-world health data (e.g., patient-reported outcomes, claims, EHR).
