Responsibilities
Are you curious about how people use digital products and passionate about shaping user experiences through research? We're looking for a UX Intern (m/f/d) with a strong interest in UX Research to join our Product Design team for a mandatory full-time internship.
You'll work on real projects, alongside experienced designers and developers, and have the time and support to grow your skills – whether you're aiming to become a UX Researcher or a UX Designer with a solid foundation in research.
This is not a typical internship where you just observe. You'll be treated like a team member and actively contribute to meaningful work that makes a difference.
1. Support our Product Design team in user-centered product development
2. Assist in planning, conducting, and analyzing UX research such as surveys, interviews, and usability tests
3. Get hands-on experience with behavioral and attitudinal methods
4. Use and help improve our in-house research tool, the User Focus Program, to recruit participants, create surveys, and measure UX using methods like SUS, UEQ, and Jobs to Be Done
5. Help improve the metrics, methodology, and usability of the User Focus Program itself
6. Document and share findings in tools like Confluence and Figma
7. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for design and product
8. Work closely with Designers, Developers, Product Owners and Product Managers in agile teams
9. (Optional but welcome!) Contribute to UI design by creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interface specifications
Requirements
10. You’re enrolled at a university and your study program includes a mandatory internship (5–6 months)
11. You’re available full-time, starting September or October 2025
12. You’re studying something related to UX Design, User Research, HCI, Information Design, Psychology, or similar
13. You have basic experience with UX research methods (e.g., usability tests, interviews, surveys)
14. You're curious, structured, and eager to learn – whether in research or design
15. You’re familiar with Figma and at least one method for analyzing qualitative or quantitative data
16. Bonus if you know about Jobs To Be Done or UX measurement frameworks like SUS or UEQ
17. Fluent in English, German is a plus

20. Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
